For Authors

The Global Journal of Clinical Medicine and Health Sciences (GJCMHS) welcomes scholarly contributions from researchers, clinicians, biomedical scientists, healthcare professionals, academicians, and public health specialists engaged in advancing medical knowledge and evidence-based healthcare practices.

Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts that demonstrate scientific originality, methodological rigor, ethical responsibility, and a meaningful contribution to medical research, clinical practice, or healthcare policy.

All submissions must represent original, unpublished work that is not under consideration elsewhere. Authors are responsible for ensuring accurate references, appropriate authorship attribution, research integrity, IRB ethical approvals, patient informed consent, and full disclosure of funding sources.

Author Submission Guidelines & Core Requirements

Submitting scholars should ensure that their manuscripts comply with the following mandatory criteria prior to submission:

1. Scope & Suitability

Manuscripts must align with core clinical medicine and health science domains including clinical specialties, epidemiology, pharmacology, diagnostics, and digital health.

2. Research & Patient Ethics

Human studies require Institutional Review Board (IRB) approvals and patient consent. Clinical trials must specify prospective trial registration numbers.

3. Reporting Standards

Follow established health reporting guidelines appropriate to research design, such as CONSORT, STROBE, PRISMA, CARE, STARD, or SPIRIT frameworks.

4. ICMJE Authorship Rules

Authorship must satisfy ICMJE recommendations. All authors must approve the submission. Ghost, gift, or guest authorship and duplicate submission are strictly prohibited.

5. Data Transparency

Include a Data Availability Statement detailing whether supporting datasets, clinical trial data, or analytical materials are publicly accessible or restricted.

6. Responsible AI Utilization

AI tools cannot be designated as authors. Substantive AI assistance in analysis, image generation, or drafting must be disclosed, with authors fully accountable.

Pre-Submission Disclosures & Post-Publication Duties

Funding & Conflicts of Interest Authors must explicitly disclose all research funding, grant numbers, sponsor roles, and any potential financial or nonfinancial competing interests prior to peer review.

Post-Publication Integrity Authors must promptly report significant errors or ethical concerns identified after publication to enable formal editorial corrections, retractions, or notices as required.
