Peer Review Policy

The Global Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Scholarly Innovation is committed to maintaining academic quality, research integrity, and transparency through a structured peer-review process. Manuscripts are evaluated based on originality, scholarly significance, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal’s multidisciplinary scope.

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment to determine their suitability for the journal. Submissions are examined for relevance, originality, manuscript preparation, ethical compliance, and adherence to author guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet the preliminary requirements may be declined without external peer review.

Manuscripts that successfully complete the initial screening are assigned to qualified reviewers with expertise in the relevant research discipline. Reviewers evaluate the scientific validity, research methodology, analytical quality, clarity of presentation, adequacy of references, and contribution to existing knowledge.

The journal follows its established peer-review model, ensuring objective evaluation, appropriate confidentiality, and the proactive management of potential conflicts of interest.

Peer Review Workflow Stages

Our review pipeline enforces rigorous quality controls at every stage of the editorial process:

1. Initial Editorial Screening

Desk screening for multidisciplinary scope alignment, structural compliance, formatting, and similarity screening via advanced anti-plagiarism software.

2. Double-Blind Peer Evaluation

Assignment to independent subject-matter reviewers. Both author and reviewer identities remain completely anonymized throughout the evaluation process.

3. Revisions & Reassessment

Authors systematically address reviewer and editorial feedback. Revised manuscripts may undergo re-evaluation to verify that all concerns have been resolved.

4. Final Editorial Decision

The final decision rests with the responsible editor based on scholarly merit, reviewer recommendations, and overall academic contribution.

Reviewer Confidentiality & Ethical Responsibilities

Reviewers must maintain strict confidentiality regarding submitted manuscripts and provide objective, constructive, and academically justified evaluations:

  • Treat all submitted manuscripts, empirical data, and associated metadata as privileged confidential documents.
  • Provide impartial, evidence-based, and constructive feedback on methodology, theoretical framework, and scientific value.
  • Disclose any potential conflict of interest that may affect impartiality and decline review assignments where an objective assessment cannot be ensured.
  • Ensure unpublished manuscript information is never used or disclosed without appropriate authorization for personal or professional advantage.
  • Adhere strictly to review deadlines to maintain continuous and timely scholarly communication.

Commitment to Quality: The Global Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Scholarly Innovation does not guarantee manuscript acceptance. Publication decisions are strictly determined by academic quality, editorial assessment, and the outcome of the applicable double-blind peer-review process.
